You want to play with kitchen set! Are you a girl.  Why are you crying ? Are you a girl! You make roti? Are you a girl! Such statements are commonly made, when a boy wants to play with any such toy or does any thing which is tagged as girl's stuff. Why are we still living under these preconceived gender biases?  My son plays with kitchen set, I buy for him.He helps me in kitchen, folds his clothes and much more. There is no particular color, game, toy or any stuff assosiated with any gender at my home. Let the kids be kids and not a boy or a girl. Let them explore and make their choices. They are children and know only to play, don't put them under your gender lens.

When your 4 years old and his not so old friend (19 years old) are fighting, shouting, jumping on your head. You make them play an interesting game. The one who keeps quiet for the longest will be the winner. After three trial rounds, we managed to get peace for 1mimute and 45 seconds.

You become Mother the day you have the little one in your hands. It doesn't matter : If it was planned or surprised, If it was normal or c-sec, If it was IVF or adopted, If it was in ur 20s or 30s, If you were single or married, You are the mother when you hold your little one for the very first time. Each mother knows best for her baby. Let's not be judgemental and support every mother. #HappyMother'sday

 I read somehwere it is no sense to keep digging into the mistake already done.Instead talking about future course puts you in correction mode.   I had practical experience of this some times back. My 4 years old in  fight with his father shrieked and shouted some slang words in anger. After a while, as per normal process, we started the CID process, where did you learn this? Why did you say this? Did you see some video? How can you say this?  He was all quite and not responding at all. No exprrssion at all. I changed the track and said, OK! we are not getting into from where you picked and why you said. Promise you will never say anything of this sort again. He promised! He responded! There was a change in expression, a positive one. At times,digging into things doesnot help, set the future action. Try it :)

Any advise or suggestion will either add value or leave you in the same position. If not adding, will not be lessening either. Welcome them with all your heart

Fear is often used as powerful emotion in advertising world. We buy products and take many decisions out of fear. Take a pause, and think how many products we buy just out of fear? Interestingly fear also helps in inculcating good habits in us. I never noticed this until my son showed me a demo. I have been asking my to son to brush his teeth before sleeping, he used to make big deal, throw tantrums etc.  One day he felt pain after eating chocolate, I took an opportunity and told him probably you don't brush at night.  Since that day, even if I skip,  he remembers to brush. Fear of going to dentist and injection worked. Then I realized Fear is not only a positive emotion in advertising world,  it plays a vital role in shaping our life,  developing integrity and ethics. 

 At times, you only need to do is let the things unfold with the time. Believe in what you are doing and keep doing!
