She still listens to her Mom

She tells everything to her mother, she is being guided by her mother, after marriage mother should not interfere. Familiar statements, Right! 

But why this is the problem?  Why cannot daughter discuss her day to day problems and dilemma? Why it is not considered right after marriage?

Daily soaps fuel this by always showing the unfavorable consequences of sharing and glorifying the one who hides. 

It is perfectly fine to speak your heart out with your mother. Keeping in heart and getting stressed is more dangerous. The advise and guidance by your mother can help you sailing through.Only thing you need to do is,  apply filter what you need to pick from the conversation and what  you need to drop and keep as mother-daugther thing. 

But why? How can mother give any advise  which needs to be filtered. The only reason is mothers love their daughters immensely. At times even if a daughter is at fault, she might wear a biased glass and out of love try to shield or cover up.

It is absolutely fine to discuss and speak your heart out but ensure to have your filters on. Be a judge of your own situation.
