I Never Said So!
In recent argument over really petty matter with my husband I experienced something really interesting.
Very commonly we tend to shout and scream in Anger. We try to speak at the top of our voice to place our point.
Interestingly what you are saying is being overshadowed by how you are saying that is why your two sentences are mixed into one and entire new meaning is formed.
Now the argument is I Never Said So!
Suddenly the argument shifted to explain something which you never said.
So basically, the tone and pitch of how you said impacted more than what you said.
Also if you repeat same old phrases/statements in every fight, they are easy to get registered as mind is already familiar to them.
My Learning- You will waste your energy in saying so much while listener might be deciphering his/her own meaning.
Important is to focus more on how to say and then on what to say!
